Thanks so much for stopping by! I'm Ellie, a full-time professional photographer based in Portishead, near Bristol.
After establishing Ellie Lou Photography almost five years ago and capturing beautiful weddings, I started working with creative brands to capture light + bright images for their businesses. My branding portfolio has naturally grown ever since and I've loved working with some truly amazing brands over the last couple of years.
I absolutely love working with like-minded businesses and capturing powerful images for their brand. In 2020 I decided to create a dedicated sister brand for Ellie Lou Photography focused entirely on branding, so I officially launched Branding by Ellie Lou Photography.
Have a look around, browse my branding portfolio and read more about the personal branding collections I offer here. I'd love to connect and chat through how bright new imagery can elevate your brand, so please say hello and tell me about your business!
I love the beach and I can't ever imagine living too far from the coast. My favourite spots for a coastal weekend away are Salcombe and Fowey. If my out of office is on it's quite likely that I've sneaked in a little trip to one of these pretty seaside villages!
I grew up in North Somerset but before setting up home in Portishead with my husband Kier, we used to live in South Devon while studying at Plymouth University. Devon is like our second home and I have lots of links to this beautiful part of the Country.
I left my 9-5 in 2015 to turn my dream of running a creative business into a reality! Alongside capturing stylish images for brands, I also capture weddings! You can visit my wedding photography website here - Ellie Lou Photography
I'll take any opportunity I can to explore the outdoors - any time of year! From muddy Autumn bike rides in the Somerset countryside to winter beach walks or a stroll on Portishead Marina during the Summer. I'm lucky to be close to many beautiful spots and within a short distance of the Cotswolds and Devon.
I drink LOTS of earl grey tea to help me through the hours of editing and on a Friday night I'll swap it for a glass of prosecco!
